Huber Equipment is a full-service dealership specializing in agriculture, commercial, light industrial, and compact construction equipment. We are the exclusive dealership for Kubota products servicing Northern and Central BC. We are also authorized to sell and service over a dozen equipment manufacturers and whole goods lines. Huber Equipment proudly offers full sales and service at locations in Prince George and Smithers.
Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Equipment Sales Representative is responsible for fostering relationships to sell equipment throughout Northern and Central BC, while increasing market share and promoting Huber Equipment products and services to potential and existing customers.
This is a full-time position (Monday to Friday 8am – 5pm), that may require some evening or weekend work.
Duties
Key Responsibilities
- Sell new and used Kubota agricultural and construction equipment
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate equipment solutions
- Conduct product demonstrations and on-site visits as required
- Prepare quotes, negotiate pricing, and close sales
- Manage customer accounts and follow up on leads and opportunities
- Stay current on Kubota products, financing programs, and market trends
- Travel is required to new and existing customers
- Attending promotional events in and out of town after hours and on weekends
- Collaborate with service, parts, and management teams to ensure customer satisfaction
Qualifications
Key Requirements
- Previous sales experience (equipment, automotive, heavy equipment, or related industry preferred)
- Knowledge of agricultural or construction equipment is a strong asset
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Self-starter with strong time management and organizational abilities
- Comfortable working both in the field and in a dealership environment
- Proficiency with CRM systems and basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office
- Strong communication skills (oral and written) and ability to work effectively with customers, the service team, external contractors, and other company personnel.
- Must have a clean and valid BC Class 5 driver's license.

What We Offer
- Sales personnel compensation includes a base salary of $40K a year, uncapped commissions, and sales incentives provided by product companies
- Temporary base pay of $6,500 per month guaranteed (including commission) for a 3 month period effective on official start date while building customer base
