1700 & 2700 SERIES ROUND BALERS
 |
With a Massey Ferguson 1700 Series Round Baler you can produce round bales
that weigh 550 to 2100 pounds with low horsepower requirements. With their
patented open-throat design and vertical bale chamber, both 1700 Series balers
move hay directly from the pickup assembly into the chamber – without feed rolls,
compression rolls or drum rollers to restrict hay flow or create wrapping problems.
The Hesston Series Auto-Cycle™ Balers are truly the most automated balers in the
industry. Building high quality solid core bales is a snap with the model 2746A or the
2756A. Automation of all baler functions ensures a perfectly formed bale every time.
Auto-Cycle functions include starting of the bale forming belts, tying or wrapping the
bale, de-clutching the baler drive clutch, opening the tailgate, closing the tail gate and
restarting the bale forming belts. In addition, these Auto-Cycle balers are self sufficient
with on board hydraulics that includes an oil reservoir, hydraulic pump, oil filter and control
valves. Simply drop in the hitch pin, hook up the PTO and monitor system and you are on your
way to bale hay!
Massey Ferguson® 2700 Hesston Series Auto-Tie™ balers are available in 4’x5’, 4’x6’,
and 5’x6’ bale sizes, each offering new features and conveniences that make baling easier for you.
These variable chamber balers with their Auto-Tie system can be set to automatically tie the bale
once the selected bale diameter is reached, or in the manual mode the baler will perform the tie
function when the operator pushes the cycle start switch. When these balers are equipped with the
optional mesh wrap system the operator has the choice of selecting the same automatic or
semi automatic functions, adding additional convenience to the baling process.
Once the bale is tied the operator simply cycles the tailgate to eject the bale.

1800 SQUARE BALERS
 |
If you’ve ever had to squeeze a baler through a narrow gate, or navigate a small field, you can’t help
but appreciate the Massey Ferguson 1800 Series small square balers with their in-line design that
moves the crop in a straight line from the windrow to the bale chute. In contrast to offset balers, field
and road positions are one in the same, saving you valuable time when moving between fields.
The in-line design also adjusts to ground contours faster and easier, since flotation tires and
gauge wheels are of equal size on both sides of the machine. |
